Low Key Photography
January 6th
By overexposing or underexposing your image properly you can change the mood and or the meaning of your photograph. While doing this "low key photography" assignment I learned it's important because you can have more creative control just by changing the exposure. You can change the exposure of an image by editing post photo shoot, but you can also explore the camera settings and achieve the same or better affect on the image. By changing the shutter speed, aperture, and camera ISO you can change the exposure of the image.
While doing this assignment I got to explore the settings of the camera more and play around with editing these images in black and white. I also learned that it's kind of tricky to get the lighting right and make it so you can't see the background.
