Depth of field
Depth of field is how much of your picture is in focus. By using aperture you can focus the viewers attention on more specific things. You can control depth of field by using aperture. You can change your aperture by using the cameras aperture priority or manual mode. You can choose the aperture and the camera will automatically pick a corresponding shutter speed.
